electric cars are a little before their time. I think new batteries will improve electric vehicles in the coming years. As they become the more popular the infrastructure to support them will come along. Like cheaper to repair. they are just so much simpler in design & function that all the parts to an ICE. I mean first there is no transmission (shifting of gears). and diesel locomotive are really electric vehicles. Just run from a diesel generator or from electric in the wires above them, or on the extra rail with subways.
I bought a Tesla Model Y Performance two years ago, best performance, safest, most technically advanced car I've ever owned. not even my 1976 Plymouth Grand Fury had this much punch!

Tesla has committed consumer fraud on a massive scale, from lying about FSD, ranges, and (recently, unconfirmed!) even inflating odometers. Many times now, also securities fraud.

Tesla is slashing its workforce in Norway where sales are slumping. In April, VW and China’s Geely crushed Tesla in sales. Toyota BZ4X and its Subaru Solterra twin sold nearly as many units in Norway in April 2024 as Tesla sold Model Ys; and they outsold $TSLA Model 3 4:1!
