Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Infrastructure sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN), which rose 35.00% or 28 points to trade at 108 at the close. Meanwhile, Victoria Insurance Tbk PT (JK:VINS) added 19.59% or 58 points to end at 354 and Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (JK:DVLA) was up 17.28% or 330 points to 2240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Mitraniaga Tbk (JK:NAGA), which fell 28.74% or 50 points to trade at 124 at the close. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 25.00% or 34 points to end at 102 and Intraco Penta Tbk (JK:INTA) was down 21.33% or 96 points to 354.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 235 to 92 and 94 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN) rose to 52-week highs; up 35.00% or 28 to 108. Shares in Bank Mitraniaga Tbk (JK:NAGA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 28.74% or 50 to 124. Shares in Victoria Insurance Tbk PT (JK:VINS) rose to all time highs; rising 19.59% or 58 to 354. Shares in Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (JK:DVLA) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 17.28% or 330 to 2240.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.71% or 0.34 to $48.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.77% or 0.39 to hit $50.85 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.64 to trade at $1255.36 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 13315.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.58% to 9955.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 98.97.
