Taiwan Hon Chuan shares are down 6% from the beginning of the year, still down 7.27% from its 52 week high of 81.20 set on March 29. They are under-performing the KLCI which is down 4.83% from the start of the year.

Formosa Plastics had beat expectations on Wednesday with second quarter EPS of 3.33 on revenue of 73.92B, compared to forecast for EPS of 2.84 on revenue of 71.41B.
